Tainted LOVE

Welcome to Episode Ten.

May I introduce to you Miss Anna and Director Ji Cun Xi.



These two embody the meaning of love that's been tainted. Perhaps this is the first time that I will use a title and thoroughly explain it.

You see, Anna and Cun Xi are not ordinary people. They don't live their life in the present, striving to keep up with their day-to-day routines. The one thing that ordinary people lack, they have: and that's status. Status and power, and quite a few other things that people would usually get jealous over, even... their LOOKS.

Anna Shi is a ridiculously talented ballet dancer and has an extraordinary personality. Cun Xi is the 9th successor of Mo Fa Ling's enterprise. They make soap LOL. But that's not the point. Cun Xi is unbelievably wealthy and well-known amongst the rich people crowd.

They've been dating for 2+ years & were in love. But when Cun Xi accidentally got Xin Yi Chen (ordinary village girl from Jiang Mu Island) pregnant during a most random encouter (in which both were in altered mental states), Anna and Cun Xi's love became tainted.

Because Anna was away in New York practicing ballet and getting ready for her performance as the white swan, Odette, on stage, Cun Xi was able to keep Xin Yi a secret from Anna after Cun Xi's grandmother forced the two strangers, Cun Xi and Xin Yi to get married.

When Anna came back (this episode xD), shit. went. down.

You can tell from the screenshot above that Cun Xi's mind is elsewhere... I guess this drama was titled "Fated To Love You" for a reason. Perhaps Cun Xi and Xin Yi were fated for each other. Destined to meet. Their lives are inter-crossed and there's really no helping that. As much as they try to NOT fall in love with each other (for the sake of Anna and Cun Xi), it just can't be helped.

Sigh, now to explain the shit going down part. When Cun Xi's grandmother (we shall call her 'Nai Nai') found out that Anna was back and that Xin Yi was going back to Jiang Mu Island to hide out for a while, she was not happy. In an rage of fury, she stormed to Anna's apartment where Cun Xi was staying for a while, and force-introduced Xin Yi to Anna when Cun Xi was not able to tell his girlfriend that he has a wife.

Nai Nai's exact words to Cun Xi: I'll help you face reality. This woman has lived a steady life for 27 years, but she unexpectedly got "a shot" by you. And now she's pregnant with your baby. She's been married to you for a month and there is 6 months left before she gives birth to your baby. She is your wife, Chen Xin Yi!

Poor Anna... her face was priceless after Nai Nai said that.
